Hydraulic booster is also known as oil pressure booster, continuous automatic booster, reciprocating booster, hydraulic booster valve, hydraulic amplifier, etc. The working principle is shown in the figure above:
A hydraulic booster is essentially an automated booster cylinder.
The hydraulic booster is all the parts in the dashed box, including the low pressure piston LP, the high pressure piston HP, the hydraulic control reversing valve, the liquid inlet check valve, the liquid outlet check valve, the hydraulic control check valve, and the outer casing.
When the electromagnetic reversing valve is reversed to the right position, the low pressure system supplies oil to the P port of the hydraulic booster, and the low pressure hydraulic oil passes through the inlet check valve to reach the top of the high pressure piston HP, pushing the high and low pressure pistons downward;
When the high pressure piston HP reaches the bottom dead center position, the upper chamber of the pilot control port of the hydraulic control reversing valve is connected to the low pressure hydraulic oil. Since the area of the upper chamber of the pilot control port is larger than that of the lower chamber, the hydraulic control reversing valve will move down to realize automatic commutation.
After the hydraulic control valve is reversed, the low pressure hydraulic oil enters from the P port, passes through the hydraulic control valve, reaches the bottom of the low pressure piston LP, pushes the high pressure piston HP upward, and compresses the liquid column at the top of the high pressure piston HP. The check valve will be closed, the liquid outlet check valve will be opened, and the high pressure hydraulic oil will be output.
When the high-pressure piston HP reaches the top dead center position, the upper chamber of the pilot control port of the hydraulic control reversing valve will be connected to the return oil, and the pressure oil in the lower chamber of the pilot control port will push the reversing valve to move up, and switch to the picture again. location shown.
In this way, continuous pressurization is achieved.
When the electromagnetic reversing valve is switched to the neutral position, the hydraulic pressure booster is automatically maintained.
When the electromagnetic reversing valve is reversing to the left position, the low pressure system supplies oil to the T port of the hydraulic intensifier, opens the internal hydraulic control check valve, and also supplies oil to the rod cavity of the load cylinder to push the cylinder back.
